The reason why this night is called the night of power is that this night can help us remove our sins and get unlimited rewards and blessings from ALLAH (SWT).Laylat-ul-Qadr is the one night when we can get repentance from Allah (SWT), we can get our prayers accepted, and secure our place in Jannah.<\/p>\r\n<p>The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has explained to us that the exact date of this night is not known to anyone however, this night falls on the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan. Muslims have to find this night and pray all these five nights to seek Divine pleasure.<\/p>\r\n<p>Narrated by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qtvtutor.com\/hazrat-aisha\/\">Hazrat Aisha<\/a> (may Allah be pleased with her), the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said<strong><em>:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><strong><em> &#8220;Search for the Night of Qdr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan.&#8221; (Sahih Bukhari)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<h2>SIGNS OF LAYLAT-UL-QADR<\/h2>\r\n<p>As we all are aware of the fact that no one knows the exact date of Laylat-ul-Qadr, there are certain signs of Laylat-ul-Qadr which are mentioned in various hadiths of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). They include:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>The night is mentioned as a peaceful and calm night, the weather will be calm and pleasant<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The stars will be visible in the sky and there will be no clouds visible.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>During this night, the angels come to earth and deliver blessings and serenity to people who are performing acts of worship.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The believers can see a dazzling light that shines down on the earth.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The sun rises as a white disc the following day without emitting any rays.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>MENTION OF LAYLATUL QADR IN THE QURAN<\/h2>\r\n<p>Surah Al Qadr which is the 97<sup>th<\/sup> chapter (Surah) of the Holy Quran describes the significance of this miraculous night. The verses are as follows:<\/p>\r\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the Night of Power. And what will make you know what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Spirit (Gabriel) by Allah&#8217;s permission with all decrees. Peace! Until the appearance of dawn.&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/quran.com\/en\/al-qadr\">Quran 97:1-5<\/a>)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>These verses of the Holy Quran explain the importance of this night, ALLAH (SWT) has mentioned that the Holy Quran was sent in Laylat-ul-Qadr and this night is better than a thousand months , the good deeds and worship have done on this night are better than the worships done in a thousand months. Also, ALLAH (SWT) sends the angels to the earth on this night who bring with them ALLAH\u2018s blessings and decrees.<\/p>\r\n<h2>MENTION OF LAYLATUL QADR IN HADITH<\/h2>\r\n<p>The Holy Prophet (PBUH) also emphasized the importance of this night several times. Some of the Hadiths are:<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:\u00a0<strong><em>&#8220;Verily, Ramadan has come to you as a blessed month, and Allah has made obligatory upon you fasting in it. The gates of Paradise are opened in it, and the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained. In it is a night better than a thousand months. Whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.&#8221; (Sunan Ibn Majah)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Narrated by Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:\u00a0<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<strong><em>&#8220;Whoever stands (in prayer) during the Night of Qadr with faith and hoping for its reward will have all of his previous sins forgiven.&#8221; (Sahih Bukhari)<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>The above-mentioned Hadiths are enough to explain the worth of these precious nights. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has given the good news to his Ummah that whoever will get this night and spends it in prayers he will be forgiven and all his sins will be vanished.<\/p>\r\n<h2>PRAYERS OF LAYLATUL QADR<\/h2>\r\n<p>Muslims are encouraged to spend these nights praying and in various acts of worship. Other than obligatory prayers, we can perform many voluntary prayers like reciting the Holy Quran, making dua (supplications), and asking forgiveness from ALLAH (SWT).<\/p>\r\n<h3>DUA FOR LAYLAT-UL-QADR<\/h3>\r\n<p><strong><em>\u201cALLAHUMMA INNAKA &#8216;AFUWWUN TUHIBBUL &#8216;AFWA FA&#8217;FU &#8216;ANNEE\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sunnah.com\/tirmidhi:3513\"><strong><em>Tirmidhi: 3513<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, [Generous,] You love to pardon, so pardon me<\/p>\r\n<p>Additionally, the recitation of Surah Qadr is also recommended on this holy night\u00a0 as it describes the significance and blessings of this night. Engaging in voluntary prayers such as Taraweeh, tahajjud, and Salat ut Tasbeeh is also highly rewarding on this night.<\/p>\r\n<h3>BENEFITS OF LAYLAT-UL-QADR<\/h3>\r\n<p>Laylatul Qadr brings so many blessings and rewards to Muslims. It is the most powerful night in the Islamic calendar. Here are some of the <strong>benefits of Laylat-ul-Qadr<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>The primary significance of this night is that the Muslims get the golden opportunity to get their sins forgiven ALLAH (SWT) opens the door of forgiveness and those who ask for forgiveness will get it by the will of ALLAH (SWT).<\/li>\r\n\t<li>It is a great opportunity to connect with ALLAH (SWT) spiritually the night is the best time to make a strong and deeper connection with the creator of this Universe.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The rewards for every good deed get multiplied on this powerful night.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Those who seek ALLAH\u2018s protection on this night will be saved from harm and evil.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>CONCLUSION<\/h3>\r\n<p>The night of Laylat-ul-Qadr is the night of blessings and rewards. It is the best time for Muslims to please ALLAH (SWT) and to get maximum rewards and serenity.
